Time just keeps ticking...

A while has passed but so much has happened.  It is easier for me to allow photos to tell the story....
The above video clip is of course Parker getting so much help from Aunt Steph, trying to teach him to crawl... Well he will get there :)
Tyler and his scout troop have been busy doing short hikes to prepare for their 50 mile hike of the Appalachian mountains.  He was quite tired this day and Duke was only happy to snuggle for a nap.
The pool finally got warm enough to introduce Parker to it.  He wasn't too happy about it but he will get used to it...
The traditional Easter photo. Again this year we went to Pulver's for dinner and the traditional flashlight egg hunt.  The missionaries happily obliged hiding all the 250 eggs while others patiently waited to go scavenger in the dark.  It was a great time.
I don't know why this is in here twice except that it is funny enough to watch again and again...
Two weeks ago we heard that there was a Loggerhead turtle that had been rehabilitated and was going to be released.  Of course we had to be there... Steph made sure of it.  As it turned out they released two, some doves, and a pelican.  We named the turtles Lilly and Lewis and the pelican Howard.  Lilly had been hit by a boat and broke her jaw.  It was so bad they had to place a feeding tube in through her neck until the jaw healed.

Lilly seemed reluctant to leave and then Howard reappeared and waited for her and led her out to open sea. It was actually heart warming.  At one point Lilly must have turned back to shore because here came Howard and the Marine folks came running down the beach in the surf.  After a bit they seemed relieved that she didn't come up on shore and instead went on her way.

After the turtles and friends were on our way, we hung out for awhile too.  Parker finally got used to the sand and decided it was fun to splash gramma in the mucky stuff.
Tyler had a great time on the new skim board he bought himself... He never stops...
Well, Steph is just Steph... no explanation needed :) We love having her home for awhile.

This is Stephanie doing her Baywatch run... An amazing athlete (for a brief moment )...
Allie was at the beach too, but she was off with friends we ran into while there.

Life is just very good right now.  We are so blessed even in the challenges we have we can see the blessings of the Lord's hand.

So that is a quick run down on some of the things we have been doing around here.
